🤙🏽Following a successful “From the Water” tour through California, Arizona and New Mexico; San Diego beach rock icons, ‘Sandollar’ are busy with multiple new music releases.

🤙🏽Sandollar just dropped an acoustic album “Sun Sets”, a collaboration with vocalist and fellow Pacific Records artist, Kela Sako. 

this soulful collection reimagines some of kela sako and sandollar hits, while also featuring a new song “Gold (Glitter)” that they wrote collectively. the album authentically encapsulates the vibe of a socal bonfire jam session. 

🤙🏽The award-winning band has wrapped up their sessions at the reputable Foo Fighters' Studio 606, and are putting the finishing touches on a full-length album, planned for release in 2026.

 

Sandollar's roots began years prior to its formation.  jam sessions became a daily ritual for this group of high school buddies who discovered their shared passion for making music.  

In 2006, Sandollar was formed.  in 2010; After a handful of years of writing songs, performing live and evolving their sound, sandollar released Their debut, self-titled album “sandollar”.

in 2013, Sandollar was singled out as San Diego’s best unsigned band and thus taped for an appearance on the web TV series “Indie Across America”. 

lATER In 2013, Sandollar released their debut album with Pacific Records, “rollercoaster Ride”, along with the single “Poor House”.

Their song “Up Up" from their 2013 album “Rollercoaster Ride” was feautured on the first episode of the 2020 Netflix series Outer Banks. music from that album also appeared on cbs's magnum pi.

singles “party people” and “So Dangerous” were released in 2020.

in 2022 sandollar released “under the water”, a full length album; While 2022 also saw the release of their "Warrior" single.

Sandollar's album “Under the Water” won the Best World Music Album at the 2023 San Diego Music Awards.

2025 held a successful “From the Water” tour through California, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.

With handful of exciting projects coming down the pipeline, these san diego beach rock icons continue to transform the soundtrack of the SoCal lifestyle.

“Our music is inspired by SoCal culture and lifestyle. We coined the expression ‘beach rock’ to describe our sound, which is a unique melding of different genres. Our songs carry the message of riding the wave and taking things as they come,”
